1. The Service

BrokerStop, Inc. ("BrokerStop") provides a data privacy service that submits opt-out and deletion requests to a defined list of sales and lead databases ("data brokers") on your behalf as your Authorized Agent under applicable privacy law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The current list of covered brokers is available in your dashboard.

2. No Guarantee of Removal

We submit requests on your behalf in good faith. Individual data brokers may decline, delay, request additional identity verification, or fail to comply with removal requests. BrokerStop is not responsible for a broker's failure or refusal to honor a request. We are not able to guarantee that your information will be removed from any specific broker or from the internet generally.

3. Your Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use this service. You may only submit removal requests for your own personal data. You may not use this service to submit requests on behalf of another individual unless you have entered into a separate enterprise agreement with BrokerStop.

4. Subscription and Billing

BrokerStop Shield is available as a monthly plan ($12/month) or an annual plan ($120/year). Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by emailing privacy@brokerstop.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods.

5. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your BrokerStop account at any time through account settings. Upon deletion, your customer record and associated data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Cancellation of your subscription does not automatically delete your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BrokerStop to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent removal requests; to impersonate another individual; or to interfere with the operation of the service or its underlying infrastructure.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BrokerStop's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to BrokerStop in the 12 months preceding the claim. BrokerStop is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific removal outcome will be achieved.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [COUNTY, STATE].

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
